It felt like a massive day when I finally got my brand new school bag. It was green and had a cool picture/pictures of animals/my favorite cartoon character on it. My mom helped me fill it with all the supplies I needed for school, like pencils, notebooks, and a lunch box. When I put it on my back, it felt so heavy. I ran all the way to school, excited to start my first day!
My friends had different bags, too. Some were plain. We told each other about our bags during recess. I was so proud of my awesome school bag! It felt like the start of a great new adventure.
